The coin shaped leaves of this Pilea are reminiscent of small coins; that’s why it’s called the ‘Chinese money plant’! This green beauty made its appearance in the 70’s, but we lost sight of the plant afterwards. Fortunately, the retro Pilea plant is back and is a welcome guest nowadays .
